Bennett Thrasher Names Ron Provenzano as Chief Operating Officer

Provenzano ’s primary role with the firm will be to drive excellence in client service across all practice groups. He will work with our teams to develop scalable systems, processes, and capabilities to support the growing needs of the firm’s clients.

Bennett Thrasher, one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing certified public accounting and consulting firms, welcomes Ron Provenzano as the firm’s new Chief Operating Officer. Bringing more than 20 years of executive operating experience to his new role, Ron joins the dynamic leadership team guiding Bennett Thrasher into the firm’s next chapter of expansion and continued growth.

In his previous role, Provenzano led North American operations for the $1.2B Innerworkings, Inc. He is a former partner of the Chicago-based law firm, Kirkland & Ellis, and co-founder of the firm’s non-compete practice group. There, he developed an expertise in technology, intellectual property-driven M&A and litigation.

Provenzano holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
